Montane Kong Vinter is an adventure race in the Copenhagen area that gives the participants some unique experiences in nature.

It is a team race where orienteering, running, mountain biking, climbing and canoeing (only the master route) are the main ingredients.

The route is in beautiful nature with many spectacular features along the way.

The race has 3 distances suitable for all levels and a U21 junior

Master Areuroseries

Winning Time: 16 hours
Course open: 24 hours

Team size: 3-4 person AREuroseries: Only 4 person mix

Prize: Free entry to European Championship in France

AR European Series are the regional circuit for EuropaThe ARWS European Series is a collection of the best mid-distance adventure races in the European region. Event organisers set a unique course to test athletes over 10-18 hours courses of non-stop day and night racing in the disciplines of trekking, mountain biking, Climbing, paddling, and navigation. 

Participating teams earn points towards their  AR Regional Ranking and the winner of each round gains entry to the  ARWS European Championship. The ARWS Qualifiers in each region are included in both the Regional Circuit and  World Qualifier Circuit.  

The European Series are qualifier events for the Adventure Racing European Championship (AREC). The winner of the AR European Championship get a free entry to AR World Championship.

Adventure Racing World Series
 (ARWS) was created in 2001. It is the circuit that unites “long-distance” adventure racings around the globe. It organizes and structures the world cup of Adventure Race.

The World Series are qualifier events for the Adventure Racing World Championship (ARWC).
